About this event
The second edition brought dozens of national and international participants back together at the Flag Hotel Convento do Desagravo in Vila Pouca da Beira, Oliveira do Hospital, for an evening of networking, new partnerships and celebrating the potential of rural Portugal. The room reflected the breadth of the network: IT specialists, real estate and industrial investors, architects, rural tourism hoteliers, luxury hospitality managers, specialists in social and environmental projects, credit intermediaries, agro-industry representatives and real estate agents. Quinta do Pé Torto hosted a wine tasting, presented by Duarte Carona, Pedro Carona and Diogo Pais: a fresh single-varietal white Encruzado and a smooth, well-balanced red from Alfrocheiro and Jaen. The Rui Monteiro Quartet provided the music, with Rui Monteiro on bass and João Nunes de Ornelas on saxophone, both from Oliveira do Hospital, joined by Gorka Diez on guitar and Antón Quintela on drums from the Porto and Galicia region. The mayor of Oliveira do Hospital, Francisco Rolo, attended and once again expressed his support for the initiative.
